DESCRIPTION

Hind Anti Rust is a modified acrylic polymer based cementitous, anticorrosive, protective coating.

USES
· Anti corrosive and anti carbonation coating used for steel and concrete.

APPLICATION
Before application the substrate to be properly cleaned. Component A and Component B should be mixed in
ratio of 1: 2. The first coat to be applied with a medium stiff brush. The second coat to be applied after 2-3
hours. On air curing for 2-3 hours after application of the second coat mortar, plaster or concrete may be done.

DESCRIPTION

Hind Block Fix is a ready to use, self curing and non-shrink block fixing compound, blended carefully and formulated to a prefect adhesive, based on Portland cement, graded aggregates and polymers. By addition of water a high strength thixo-tropic mortar is obtained which is used for laying of Fly Ash bricks, Aerated light weight concrete, cement & hollow blocks and Cellular concrete blocks. Plaster to a thickness of 12mm can also be achieved with Hind Block Fix to cover up the block work surface and it meets all Standards Nationally as well as Internationally. It conforms to ANSI A118.1 & ANSI A118.4 (1999) , EN-1348 & ASTM C 1660-09.

USES

For preparation of a thin bed adhesive for fixing of AAC, ALC and cellular concrete blocks both for interior and exterior use.

APPLICATION

All surfaces should be sound, clean and free from any contamination like grease, oil, loose particles etc. and structurally sound. Uneven and rough surface should be made smooth before to application of Hind Block Fix. It can be applied on damp surface also. All slabs must be plumb and true and should be within 1/4 inch (6mm) tin 10ft (3mm). If any Expansion joints are observed it should not be covered with the mortar and treatment to be done as per technical specification mentioned in the drawing.

Mixing:

Mix 20 Kg of Hind Block Fix with 5.5- 6.0 Litre of potable water. The water should be taken in a container and Hind Block Fix to be added to the water slowly and mixed with hand or a slow speed paddle mixer for 3-4 minutes to obtain a lump free smooth thixo-tropic mix of trowel able consistency. Water can be reduced or increased slightly to achieve desired consistency.

Application as a thin bed mortar for laying blocks:

The substrate over which the blocks are to be laid should properly cleaned from all loose particles before placing the mortar. The mortar is placed on the block work in thin layers of 2mm – 3mm with a trowel and the next layer of blocks are placed over it. The joints between the blocks are maintained as per the requirements and to be filled with the mortar by using a trowel. Plumbing is done to maintain the verticality of the wall.

Smoothing over the block work:

Application of a bonding layer of 1mm -2mm thick of Hind Block Fix is to be done using a trowel and pressing it downwards before placing the mixed mortar. Finally using Hind Block Fix Adhesive of 8mm-10mm thickness it is smoothened with a wooden/rubber float or sponge.

Cleaning: Cleaning of all tools used to be washed with clean water before it gets dried.

ACRYLIC POLYMER BASED CEMENTITIOUS COATING FOR WATER PROOFING.

DESCRIPTION
Hind Crete Plus WPM is an acrylic polymer based Cementitious coating and when used as recommended,
combines with cement and fine sand to from an impermeable coating by blocking the capillaries and pores of
the substrate of concrete. It is also UV resistant.

USES
Hind Crete Plus WPM is recommended for use in all structures that required to be waterproofed and protected
against the ingress of moisture, like Roof / Terrace, Basements, Water tanks, Swimming pools, Retaining Walls,
Bridge walls, Tunnels, Sewage tanks, Reservoirs, Dams, Dock Gates etc.

APPLICATION
Substrate must be sound, clean free from loose particles or laitance and preferably wire brushed. The surface to
receive the coating is to be checked first, if there are any cracks. If any cracks exist, it has to be repaired with
cement mortar admixed with Hind Crete Plus WPM.. Undulation and depression to be filled and leveled to
obtain even surface. The prepared surface must be thoroughly wetted with water and it has to be ensured that
there is no standing water on the surface, before application of the coating.

CURING
Over the coated surface, water is to be sprinkled after 6-10 hrs. Mild curing to be done after 24 hours of
application. After 72 hours curing to be done vigorously and finally kept submerged in water for seven days.
Good results can be obtained if curing is carried on for further period of time.

DESCRIPTION

Hind Fix TA is ready mix cement based excellent tile adhesive bearing IS Certification Mark, IS: 15477-2004, Type 1 and also conforms to ANSI A 118.4, EN 12004 & ISO 13007. It is also certified as a green product by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

USES

It is a cementitious thinset powder to be mixed with water only for permanent fixing of ceramic and mosaic tiles on walls and floors and to various substrates like Concrete, Cement Plaster, Tile & Stone, Brick Masonry, Concrete Masonry, Cement Mortar Bed & Cement Terrazzo. It has an unique underwater shear bond which make this product to be used in wet areas like swimming pools, fountains, toilets, bathrooms, kitchens and wash areas.

APPLICATION

All surfaces should be sound, clean and free from any contamination like grease, oil, loose particles etc. before application, the surface and tiles should be pre wetted properly. Hind Fix TA is to be mixed with water in the ratio of 1: 0.2 to 0.25 parts by weight and stir till a smooth paste is obtained. Allow the paste to stand for 4 to 5 minutes and stir again. Spread the paste on the surface to a uniform thickness of 3 to 4 mm. With a notched trowel to remove any trapped air, place the tiles firmly into position by twisting action. Excess adhesive is to be removed by using damp cloth. Powder should be added to water and not vice versa.

COVERAGE

5-6 Sq. Mtr. per 20 Kg Bag for 3mm mortar thickness. Coverage may vary depending on the trowel notch size, type and size of the tile and the nature of the substrate.

MIXING

Mix 1 Kg of Hind Fix-TA with water ranging from 200-250 ml to get a trowel able consistency for fixing tiles. Water can be reduced or increased slightly to achieve desired consistency.

DESCRIPTION

Hind Hydraproof Ceramic is an emulsion of high grade Ceramic Polymer in water. It contains the added advantages of ceramic particles which are the heat and cold dissipating elements that give the ability to save on heating and cooling costs. It dries by evaporation to yield a tough, velvety, non-yellowing, watertight surface with highly abrasion resistance and Ultraviolet stability. Hind Hydraproof Ceramic when applied directly to rust will prevent further rusting problem.

Hind Hydraproof Ceramic is used to provide a coating to insulate most building materials from solar heat.
Hind Hydraproof Ceramic does not require a primer in most cases due to the unique properties of the material.

APPLICATION
Brush or Roller
Pre wet the brushes and rollers to avoid clogging. Apply two coats straight from the container. Allow two hours between conventional spray.
Airless Spray
Thin with up to 10% clean water to aid atomization. Use a tip orifice of 0.5 micrometers or larger. Apply the material in two even coats. Allow two hours between coats. Do not apply if temperature is or will fall below 100C or high humidity, rain or dew as Hind Hydraproof Ceramic will not cure properly. If the conditions are hot or windy, and it is necessary to coat in these conditions the surface should be cooled using water hose. Hind
Hydraproof Ceramic can be applied over the damp cool surface. If Hind Hydraproof Ceramic is not dry within one hour, cease coating immediately. Where the application is used for the collection of drinking water, down pipes should be kept open until the area has had two or three rinses with rain water. Surface must be cleaned, dried and free of any oil, grease or dirt by approved method prior to application of Hind Hydraproof

ALL PURPOSE ACRYLIC POLYMER BASED WATERPROOFING AND PROTECTIVE COATING

DESCRIPTION
Hind Plasto Guard is a single component, flexible, ultra violet and weather resistant waterproofing coating based on modified acrylic polymer. It also possesses the property to reflect the heat from the applied surface which results in producing a cooling effect. It can be applied to all exposed flat, sloped and vertical concrete, masonry and metal surfaces.

USES
Hind Plasto Guard is used for surface waterproofing and weather resistant coating for concrete flat, sloped roofs, parapet walls, basements, swimming pool, water bodies, RCC/Lime terraces/Asbestos , sunken portion of Toilets & Kitchen, Chajjas and on the exterior surface of PVC/Metal water tanks placed on roofs/balconies which allows to keep the temperature of the water inside the tank cooler to some extent.

APPLICATION
Surface preparation
The surface should be cleaned from all loose materials, oil, grease, and washed properly. Any undulations, pot holes , wide cracks are to be properly mended with cement mortar and sufficiently cured. Before the application of Hind Plasto Guard it is to be ensured that there is no stagnant water on the surface. After the preparation of surface a Hind Plasto Guard primer to be applied on the substrate @ 0.2Kg/m2 and then Hind Plasto Guard is applied in two coats, @ 0.4 to 0.5Kg/m2 per coat by brush or roller depending on the substrate.
Hind Plasto Guard can be applied along with Hind Fiber Glass, which is to be embedded between the first and second coat @ 0.7 to 1.0 Kg/m2 per coat, depending on the porosity of the surface in green condition. When the second coat gets cured and become touch dry, a top coat (~ 0.3 Kg/m2 ) is applied to complete the application. The coated surface to be protected from rain until is gets completely dry.

POLYSULPHIDE BASED SEALANT FOR EXPANSION / CONTRACTION JOINTS.

DESCRIPTION
Hind Sealant PS is two-component system. After mixing two components, the mixed material provides a strong
and highly elastic sealant through cross-linking process. It is available in two grades. Gun grade or non-sag-type
is applied for vertical and inclined expansion /contraction joints & pour Grade type for horizontal joints.
Conforming to IS 12118 – 1987 & BS – 4254 – 1983. Also available as per BS 5212, Part 2

USES
Hind Sealant PS is used both horizontal & vertical expansion contraction joints in all type of building and civil
engineering construction such as:
· Retaining wall
· Precast Concrete Element.
· Underpasses and Tunnels
· Bridges
· High and Low Rise building and wherever a permanently flexible seal is required.
· Hind Sealant-PS pouring grade is designed specially for runways, subways, rigid pavements joints &
horizontal joints

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from loose particles. Correct joint depth can be determined by inserting compressible board tightly into the joint. Protect surface with a masking tape. Priming : Hind Sealant PS primer is recommended for the surface namely concrete, brickwork, asbestos, cement, gypsum board, stone, glass, timber, rigid PVC, anodized aluminum, ceramics etc. Primer is not required for Epoxy and polyester surfaces.

Mixing :

Both components are pre-measured. Use a suitable instrument for mixing. Mix for 8 to 10 minutes or until smooth and homogeneous material results. Using a pressure gun install the sealant into the joint without trapping air. Tool-off with a spatula to lightly concave profile. Remove masking tape.
